Some Power at Pine Street
September 13, 2003

By: Melissa Evett

Eightfold Path took the stage second, with a deep and grueling sound that rips at your ribcage. They have a very tight musical ability with seemingly honest vocal melodies and choruses that are sure to deliver. It is worth noting how singer, Matt Harvey, can so easily blend his vocals with guitarists Shaun McInnis and Mike Kilun's melodies. The actual singing capabilities are a refreshing change from such common screams and yells, and you can see its sincerity with the veins in Harvey's neck. The energy is emphasized by the back-up vocals of the band to further impact the songs on a more personal level.
