Eightfold Path, Nebulous, Sora, Camera, Happy Ending
Gaslighter Music Hall
Gilroy, CA

This past Friday in the small city of Gilroy, 5 bands took the stage at a small nightclub and literally ripped the stage off. Even without a big crowd, the fans had plenty of reason to get into the music. Happy Ending opened up, tearing it up with there hardcore/emo sound. I was amazed by the instrument aspect, as well as the singer. Drummer Erick Caceres was sure a site to see. They are definitely someone you don't want to miss because not only do they rock but they are f**king cool guys as well.

Next up was Camera, from their hometown of Modesto. Camera is a new band who recently formed together to create a great alternative sound. Camera rocked the stage with plenty of crowd support. If you like something alternative then I would recommend checking them out.

Sora was next on the bill. I don't think I really need to say much. After the many times of seeing Sora they never fail to deliver an awesome performance. Lead by Isaac on vocals, Sora had the crowd at their finger tips with even a few fans chanting them as gods. Their sound is heavy yet beautiful, brutal yet emotional. After playing a few classic songs, the crowd was crying for more. During the performance I was a little scared due to the fact that this one obsessed fan wouldn't stop with his obscene slurs made to the band Sora. I guess that shows how much the fans love them.

Nebulous changed the mood very fast with their different sound. Adding a DJ made them that much more remember able. Very clean and fast music filled the room with their presence. Vignesh, lead singer, recently answered a few questions emailed to us by the fans. You can check that out on this site.

Last but not least, when you thought the night couldn't end any better, Eightfold Path entered the stage. I felt that they had tons of energy for a big crowd, with music and vocals that were clearly amazing. The vibe swept down from the stage onto the floor as fans began to engage them selves in the final show. Hardcore vocals with smart riffs and beats made them very unique.
